As the romantic comedy movie celebrated its tenth anniversary, Parineeti reflected on the fun times she shared with her late co-stars Sushant and Rishi.
On her Instagram page, Parineeti Chopra shared a video with footage from the film's set. She wrote as her caption: " Time really flies! A decade to this film but the memories are still fresh. This movie was a journey full of laughter, hectic shoots but heartwarming moments.

‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ is set in Jaipur and centres on Raghu (Sushant Singh Rajput), who flees his own wedding after falling in love with Gayatri (Parineeti). Goyal (Tauji) was portrayed by Rishi Kapoor, while Tara was portrayed by Vaani Kapoor. The movie examines how today's youth feel about marriage, commitment, and live-in relationships. Not just the movie, but also its songs, including ‘Gulabi’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, were enormous successes.
