Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma set to reteam after PK?
Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma impressed audiences with their terrific performances in Rajkumar Hirani's all-time blockbuster film PK in 2014. And if fresh reports are to be believed, the two are set to reteam again after a long gap of eight years. Yes, you read it right!
An entertainment portal reveals that the Sultan (2016) actress has been approached to star alongside Khan in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan director RS Prasanna's next directorial venture.
Sharing more details, a source in the know informs the publication, "RS Prasanna has started preparations for his Aamir Khan film after he gave his approval to proceed with the pre-production. He has initiated a conversation with Anushka Sharma to play the leading heroine, and the talks have so far been positive. She has given her verbal nod and will likely sign on the dotted line once the final narration happens. If things work out, Anushka will play Aamir’s companion in this touching dramatic comedy about a basketball team made up of people with disabilities. She will shoot for this film after completing her Netflix sports drama, Chakda Xpress."
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is presently busy with the post-production work of his much-anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha. Directed by Advait Chandan, the period drama also features Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. The film is set to release on August 11, 2022.
