Aamir Khan hits back at trolls about Mona Singh playing his mother in Laal Singh Chaddha
On August 11, one of the most eagerly awaited movies of the year, Laal Singh Chaddha, will be released. In addition to Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan, Mona Singh plays a crucial role in the film. While Aamir portrays the lead, Mona has taken on the character of Mrs. Chaddha, Aamir's mother. While Mona is 40, Aamir is 57. Aamir was recently questioned about Mona portraying his mother in the film at a press conference.
The ‘perfectionist of Bollywood’ recently offered his opinion on the subject, saying that Mona Singh did an outstanding job and that she plays the part of Laal's mother, not Aamir Khan's mother. In a recent conversation, Aamir brought up the issue of age disparity and said, “I want to ask you a question that as an actor, as a creative person, if I'm looking 103, which I'm supposed to, why is my age inappropriate to play the role? Just because I am 57? What is the logic? (It is the beauty of the actor to look any age on screen despite their real age being different.)”
“When you see Mona Singh in the film, you will realize her brilliance. At one point you will feel she is looking very young, while at some other point she is looking old as well,” he added.
On August 11, Advait Chandan's film Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an adaptation of the popular Hollywood movie Forrest Gump (1994), will be released.
