Aamir Khan to take BREAK from movies? Here’s what he said!
On Wednesday, actor Aamir Khan went to see the premiere of the new movie Salaam Venky. The actor will make a brief appearance in the Revathi film. He maintained that he won't be seen on camera again for the following year, even as he praised the film's lead actors Kajol and Vishal. The actor has previously declared that he would be taking a break from acting in movies.
In Salaam Venky, Kajol and Kamal Sadanah are reunited onscreen for the first time in thirty years. The film is directed by renowned actor Revathi. They collaborated on Kajol's feature picture debut, Bekhudi.

Aamir shared, "I am not doing anything, talking on the red carpet of the film. I've been working nonstop for the past many years, so right now I want to spend some time with my family. So, after a year, I'll return to acting. Paani foundation ka bhi kaam chal rha hai, aur bhi thoda kaam chal rha hai. I play this minor part, which you can see."
The 57-year-old actor, who was most recently seen in Laal Singh Chaddha on the big screen, lauded Kajol and Vishal (Jethwa) for their contributions to the movie. Aamir stated, "Every artist has done a terrific job Kajol and Vishal. I'm pleased to be a part of this movie." Every single actor has achieved such success. I'm thrilled and honoured to have a role in this movie. I appreciate Revathy giving me the chance.
Aamir has previously stated that he will take a break following the failure of his movie, Laal Singh Chaddha. "I feel as if I have only been working for 35 years, concentrating solely on my work. People who are close to me don't seem to be treated fairly, in my opinion. I feel that I need to take a break now to be with them and genuinely live a new kind of life” He had previously stated, “I am looking forward to the upcoming year, year and a half, in which I am not working as an actor.”
