Aamir Khan wrote to Tom Hanks to see if he would like to see the Hindi remake of his film

After the success of ‘Taalash’ Aamir and Kareena will reunite on screen with ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The film is being heavily promoted by the leads before its theatrical release. The film is directed by Advait Chandan and written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. The film is bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures.

In a recent interview, Aamir spoke about if Tom Hanks the original film's lead potentially watch the Hindi remake. The actor said, “I have written to him if he is free and would like to watch the film. I have got feedback from his team that they are seeing his schedule for that.” Aamir has met Tom Hanks once before during an interaction with legendary director Steven Spielberg. The director introduced Aamir as the "James Cameron of India” to Tom. Tom Hanks said he knew about Aamir’s work and had seen ‘# idiots’ multiple times.

The trailer of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was recently released and went well with the masses. Although many did draw comparisons between the adaptation and the original. The audience is excited to see their beloved south star Naga Chaitanya debut in Bollywood. The film will release on the 11th of August.
