Abhishek Bachchan reacts to Shehnaaz Gill’s question; 'what's the hype around beard?'
World Beard Day is celebrated on the first Saturday of September every year. The celebration is for people to embrace having a beard. Although not everyone gets it. Shehnaaz Gill took to her Twitter to enquire what the hype and fuss were about.
Shehnaaz asked on her Twitter handle to know what the hype was about. She wrote, "What's all this hype around a beard it`s got its own day now! Shaving se kya problem hai? #WorldBeardDay". Several users reverted to the Bigg Boss star. One reply particularly caught a lot of attention as it was from Abhishek Bachchan.
Abhishek Bachchan wittily replied with a photo and a message. His message read, "It is not just a beard". The image attached was a sketch watched with the meaning of the beard and emotions around the celebration. World Beard Day is said to have started in 800 AD with Danish Vikings, they took a whole day to dedicate to their beards.
On the work front, Shehnaaz is currently shooting for Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. The film is helmed by Farhad Samji and the cast included Venkatesh Daggubati and Pooja Hedge. Aayush Sharma who is Salman’s brother-in-law is also part of the film. She will also soon star opposite John Abraham in the film ‘100%’.
