Abhishek Bajaj to romance Tamannaah in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Babli Bouncer
Actor Abhishek Bajaj, who has earlier worked in such box office hits as Student of the Year 2 (2019) and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021), is set to play a prominent part in award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s next directorial venture, Babli Bouncer.
The film stars Tamannaah Bhatia in the title role and Bajaj will be seen as her love interest. Talking to a publication, the actor says that he bonded really well with the Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017) star as both of them are Punjabis.
The 29-year-old actor began his acting career with television before transitioning to movies. On TV, he has been a part of such shows as Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi and Dil De Ke Dekho.
Talking about his journey, Bajaj says, “I believe I was honest to my profession and I am a good learner, which is why I have come this far. TV was my first step at learning and now, I am doing movies.”
The actor reveals that it got really tough during the pandemic as projects stopped coming in. He, however, did not lose hope and waited patiently before the right opportunities came knocking at the door.
“I feel my discipline got me here. Everyone has a journey like no other. It was tough to wait during the pandemic and this field requires a lot of patience. I feel patience pays, so I stayed put and thankfully, I have got good opportunities,” he signs off.
