Gajraj Rao is a wonderful actor from the old ones and is known for his versatility in acting. It's unbelievable that he has played a role of a terrorist once. It was not a small fish in the pond but a big shark professing jihad. He worked in the most underrated film from 2008, Rajeev Khandelwal-starring, 'Aamir.'
Gajraj has played the shadowy image of a Terrorist in the film, who instructs the ( Aamir) Rajeev Khandelwal to drop a bomb filled with the briefcase on the bus. His face was hardly seen on the screen, but he gave several commands to the hero Aamir over a call. He is also known for his lovable character and has delivered terrifying acts in a pitch-perfect fashion in the film.
The actor has told about it in a recent interview, "Raj Kumar Gupta, the director, was an assistant director on Black Friday, and he had extracted a promise from me then that I would have to work with him on his directorial debut, and that is how Aamir happened."
He is hardly seen in the film but has kept his looming presence in the film, which is possible by his chilling voice. When speaking about the particular scene, he says, "Imagine eating that oily food continuously from 7:30 am to 12 pm. I didn't eat mutton for 6 months after shooting that. I was asked to pretend, but that pretension is not my style, plus it was a tight close-up, so it would have become obvious that I was not eating the food but only pretending to eat it."
