Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer film 'Adipurush,' is one of the most anticipated films of the year 2023. Since the teaser was made public, the movie has become the subject of various disputes. Om Raut's film received a lot of criticism for the poor VFX in the teaser, but the crew persisted and produced a jaw-dropping trailer that won over everyone. With only a few days till its premiere, the mythical drama based on the epic Ramayana is still receiving both great and negative reviews from viewers across the country.
Recently, Dipika Chikilia made fun of the actors' portrayal and their failure to maintain that connection long after the film. Another actress has now criticised the actors for their appearances in the film. According to South Indian actress Kasturi, Prabhas' appearance in 'Adipurush' is closer to Karna from the Mahabharata than Lord Ram from the Ramayan. She asked if there was a custom where Lord Ramji and Laxman were depicted with beards and moustaches on Twitter.
She further mentioned, “Especially in Prabhas' Telugu home, Sri Rama has been played to perfection by legends. I feel Prabhas looks like Karna not Rama.”
