Since Adipurush debuted in theatres yesterday, on June 16, 2023 it has been a hot topic of conversation. It is directed by Om Raut and features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage in the lead parts.

The movie broke box office records, but it has been dogged by controversy, including criticism over the use of the "tapori" language by Lord Hanuman and others. While criticising films left, right, and centre on the internet, netizens are now calling for a television rerun of The Ramayana.

Internet users desire to watch a mythological TV show for 'National Detox' after seeing the Prabhas-starring movie at a theatre. The film has come under fire for its inaccurate depiction of Lord Ram, Sita, and Raavan.

Netizens have started the #BoycottAdipurush trend on social media after becoming dissatisfied with 'Adipurush.'
