Adipurush: Makers alarmed by Prabhas' demand for a 20% fee hike?

One of the most anticipated Indian movies is without a doubt Adipurush. The film is a pan-Indian project and is anticipated to cause a stir when it opens in cinemas next year. Made on a massive budget, the film is directed by Om Raut, who is best known for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020).
Prabhas will portray the title character, Lord Ram, in the movie, which is based on the Hindu mythology Ramayana. It promises to be a visual spectacular with some never-before-seen sequences and visual effects. Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh also star in crucial roles in the film. While the film's work is moving along steadily, there is now one interesting report circulating around regarding a pay hike for the Baahubali (2015) actor.
According to recent reports, Prabhas, the film's lead actor, is the cause of the Adipurush producers' dilemma. The actor is now demanding a whopping sum of ₹120 crores for the pan-Indian film, according to a recent report. You did indeed read that correctly! While he is receiving between ₹90 and ₹100 crores already, he wanted a fee increase.
Adipurush's budget will increase by about 25% if the producers agree. As a result, the makers are in trouble. It's interesting that Prabhas is requesting such a large sum of money following the box office failure of Radhe Shyam (2022).
Meanwhile, Adipurush is slated to hit the theatres on January 12, 2023.
