Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush has been in the news even before the makers officially announced the project. It is one of the most-anticipated pan Indian films, which was originally scheduled to release on August 11, 2022. However, the makers later decided to postpone the film and release it on a more suitable date.
Now, the team has decided to bring the film next year on the occasion of Sankranthi. Yes, Adipurush will now enter cinemas on 12th January, 2023 on Sankranti.
Sharing the update, Prabhas, who plays the lead role in the project, took to Instagram and wrote, “Adipurush Worldwide Theatrical Release in 3D on 12th Jan 2023.”
Aside from Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh also play important characters in Adipurush. The film is the modern-day adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana that revolves around the triumph of good over evil.
Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles are bankrolling the upcoming film.
