‘Adipurush’, a movie by Om Raut, has finally been released in theatres. The anticipation of witnessing the visual extravaganza has now passed. Adipurush, which stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as Ram and Sita, is anticipated to take viewers on a hitherto untold retelling of the ancient drama. People have been in wonder after seeing images of an incident in a movie theatre amid all the controversy surrounding ‘Adipurush’. A monkey wandered inside one of the movie theatres where ‘Adipurush’ was being viewed. “Hanumanji showers his blessings on ‘Adipurush's’ grand release at the theatres!” read the tweet.

The hazy video showed a monkey perched atop a tall wall and peering out of a small gap. The audience erupted into an enthusiastic applause as soon as they spotted the monkey, whistling and hollering with frantic delight.
The incident happened just a few days before Adipurush's producers declared that they would leave one seat empty in every theatre where the movie would be shown. Lord Hanuman will have the seat all to himself.

‘Adipurush’ is expected to earn around Rs 85 crores on its first day, according to the CEO of PVR Cinema. Adipurush reportedly cost Rs 500 crores to produce, of which Rs 432 crores had already been recouped from non-theatrical sales. It has been made available in 3D everywhere.
