Adivi Sesh hopes to do justice to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s story
Adivi Sesh's Major is set to release in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam on June 3.

Adivi Sesh-starer Major is one of the most-awaited films of 2022. Recently, the makers launched the trailer of the film and the audience can’t wait to witness this inspiring story on the silver screen.
Touted to be a biographical action film, Major is based on on the life Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, an army officer who was killed in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
In a recent interview, Adivi Sesh spoke about all the positive response he is getting for the trailer. “I’m thrilled and so excited with all the positive reviews and love coming my way for Major. It’s an honour to be playing such a brave and valiant character and a national hero in this all Indian film," he says.
The Evaru actor portrays Major Sandeep and he is hoping for the best. “I hope to do justice to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s memory and hope to bring his inspirational story to the big screen and to people across the country,” he adds.
Backed by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Sashi Kiran Tikka is the director of the film. Starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Prakash Raj, Anish Kuruvilla and Murali Sharma Major will be released on June 3.
