The first teaser for the upcoming Amazon Original film, Ae Watan Mere Watan, an uplifting ode to the fearless heroes of India's war for independence, was released by Prime Video, as soon the nation is set to celebrate 74th Republic Day. In the movie, which is directed by Kannan Iyer, Sara Ali Khan, who plays the lead, portrays a courageous freedom warrior. It is a thriller drama based on true events. She dons a brand-new, entirely unexpected appearance for the film.

A young girl is seen in the recently released first-look video skillfully creating a device that resembles a radio in a poorly lighted room. The film transports us to a bygone period. The young girl is slowly revealed by the camera to be none other than Sara Ali Khan, albeit in a less glamorous one. She starts to broadcast the message of independence to the entire country on her secret radio station, but the constant knocking on the door cuts her off.
Ae Watan Mere Watan chronicles the daring journey of a Bombay college student who later turns out to be a freedom fighter. The Quit India Movement of 1942 serves as the backdrop for this crafted story. The film highlights the nation's youth's bravery, patriotism, sacrifice, and cleverness.

Sara Ali Khan expressed her enthusiasm for the role: "As an actor, and more importantly, as an Indian, I am happy to be able to represent a character that reflects bravery, strength, and courage. Being able to work with Kannan Iyer sir is an absolute honor since he is so passionate about and emotionally invested in this story. While it is undoubtedly difficult to portray a character that is very different from anything I have ever done, I intend to put a lot of effort into this endeavor. I'm going to treasure every day I get to portray a mysterious freedom fighter, and that's what matters most."
