Amitabh Bachchan, who is now in Delhi, has opted to meet up with someone special. On Sunday, Amitabh and his co-star Nafisa Ali Sodhi from the 1998 film Major Saab exchanged hugs. In the film, which also starred Ajay Devgn, the two played a married couple.
Nafisa Ali shared a photo with Amitabh Bachchan on her Instagram account, in which the two of them can be seen smiling and hugging one other. In the photo, Nafisa is dressed in a white salwar kameez, while Big B is dressed in a grey sweatshirt worn over a checkered shirt. The Life In A Metro (2007) actress captioned the picture, “My very handsome, amazing man, beautiful energy and adorable co-star Amitabh Bachchan of the film Uunchai directed by Sooraj Barjatya, is currently being shot in Delhi.”
As per reports, Nafisa Ali has joined the star cast of Sooraj Barjatiya’s Uunchai. Nafisa Ali, Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Sarika, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani, and Parineeti Chopra will play crucial characters in filmmaker Barjatya's latest directorial attempt. Fans would be particularly interested to learn that following the 1998 blockbuster Major Saab, Nafisa Ali will share screen time with star Amitabh Bachchan.
Uunchai is being billed as a film about friendship. Sooraj has directed a number of family entertainers, including Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! (1994),Vivah (2006) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). Amitabh has Brahmastra, the Hindi version of The Intern, and Good Bye in addition to Uunchai.
