With hits like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name Is Khan, and Dilwale, Kajol and SRK have become one of Bollywood's most adored on-screen couples. They first appeared together in the 1990s in Baazigar, Karan Arjun, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Duplicate, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
Kajol speaks on sharing screen with Shah Rukh Khan again
Kajol and Shah Rukh haven't worked together on film since Rohit Shetty's Dilwale, and their fans can't wait for the long-awaited reunion. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she would be working with King Khan once more. She uttered: "Presently nothing. I'm not sure. We could ask him, but nothing is happening right away right now." The actress continued by saying how much she wished she could work with the Om Shanti Om star once more.
Kajol on the Work front
Regarding her career, Kajol is eagerly anticipating the release of Revathy's film Salaam Venky, which also stars Rahul Bose, Aahana Kumra, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Vishal Jethwa in the key roles. It will also feature a surprise appearance from Aamir Khan. The film is based on the true account of a mother, played by Kajol, who does everything in her power to ensure that her son (Vishal), who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, is given every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest. The theatrical debut of Salaam Venky is slated for December 9, 2022.
In addition to Salaam Venky, Kajol will star in the Hindi version of The Good Wife by Robert and Michelle King, which will debut on Disney+Hotstar. Suparn Verma is directing the political drama series which also features Kubbra Sait, Sheeba Chaddha, and Aamir Ali.
