The most beloved of the star children, Aaradhya Bachchan, is the daughter of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Being in the spotlight all the time has its drawbacks, though. Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter appears to have fallen victim to the practice in today's social media age, when disseminating false information about famous people has sadly become a widespread practice.
Aaradhya Bachchan filed a complaint with the Delhi High Court against a YouTube tabloid for spreading false information about her health as part of a crackdown on fake news. As a youngster, the 11-year-old has asked for an injunction to prevent such media coverage of her. On Thursday, 20 April 2023, the case will be heard by a bench of the Delhi High Court. Aaradhya has petitioned ten organisations to "de-list and deactivate all videos" regarding her. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Grievance Cell) as well as Google LLC have been included as parties to the lawsuit.
According to the petition, which was submitted by the legal team of Anand and Naik, "The defendants' sole motivation is to unlawfully profit from the reputation of the Bachchan family, irrespective of the damage-causing to the plaintiffs and their family members." Abhishek had previously mentioned how Aaradhya was frequently the victim of online trolls. In response to the abuse his daughter has encountered online, Abhishek had stated that he will not put up with the insults made against her. He asserted that because he is well-known, anyone who has something negative to say about him can do it face-to-face, but his daughter shouldn't be brought up in the discussion. Aaradhya recently made news when she and Aishwarya attended the NMACC inaugural event.
