Ajay Devgn talks about working with Amitabh Bachchan as a director and also as an actor
Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh are making news right now because their film Runway 34 is about to be released. Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Angira Dhar, and Aakanksha Singh also play important roles in the film. Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet recently praised co-star Amitabh Bachchan for his devotion in a new interview.
Ajay Devgn said “It’s not just inspirational. It’s unbelievable. At his age, to have that kind of dedication and that kind of passion for work is phenomenal. When he’s on set, he doesn’t move out, he doesn’t go and rest. If you tell him to please go to the van, he refuses. You call him at 11 am and he will arrive at 9 and then the whole unit is under pressure. But it’s lovely to have him around.”
Rakul Preet also recalled the filming days, stating that she was taken aback on day one. She stated that they were filming a specific segment for ten days and Amitabh Bachchan knew his dialogues the entire time, which astounded her. She was completely taken aback by his method and dedication.
It should be noted that Runway 34 is Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh's second collaboration. They appeared together during 2019 romantic comedy film De De Pyaar De, which also featured Tabu in the lead role. This year's Eid, April 29, is set to be the release date for the film.
