Akshay Kumar & Manushi Chhillar’s Prithviraj preponed to June 3 from June 10
Here is a great piece of news for all the fans of superstar Akshay Kumar. His much-anticipated film Prithviraj, which was earlier scheduled to release on June 10, has been preponed to June 3. Yes, you read that right! The historical drama will now enter cinemas one week earlier than its scheduled release date.
Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithiviraj is based on the great Rajput warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan. While Kumar plays the title role in the film, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar stars as Sanyogita. Chhillar is making her Bollywood debut with this major project.
Sharing the big news on social media, Kumar revealed that Prithviraj will be out in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. He even shared a poster of the film and wrote in the caption: “Elated to announce that Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan's grand saga is arriving sooner on the big screen on 3rd June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”
In addition to Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar, Prithviraj will also star Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt in significant roles. The film went on floors in 2019. Filming came to a halt in early 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Its release date has been reshuffled a couple of times due to the same reason.
