Akshay Kumar and Ayushmann Khurrana to collaborate for a movie?
Ayushmann Khurrana is preparing for the release of An Action Hero, which is set for December 2, 2022. Anirudh Iyer's directorial debut will star Shubh Mangal Saavdhan in a never-before-seen avatar. The trailer for An Action Hero will be published on November 11. Ayushmann released the first image from the film a few days ago with the caption,”Phata poster aur nikla ACTION HERO! Ladne ki acting toh kar li, kya asliyat mein lad paaunga?Trailer out on 11th Nov 2022 #AnActionHero coming to cinemas on 2nd Dec 2022”
Akshay Kumar will also appear in the film, according to reports.
"The film is named An Action Hero - how can one make a film with that title without the presence of Hindi Cinema's Original Action Hero - Akshay Kumar?" added the insider. According to the report, Khiladi Kumar has already filmed for a crucial role in the film, which is expected to shift Ayushmann's persona and worldview. This is Ayushmann and Akshay Kumar's first on-screen cooperation.
The producers revealed An Action Hero in October of last year. Jaideep Ahlawat also plays the lead. Aanand L Rai is producing this, Khurrana's first action picture.

Ayushmann was most recently seen in Anubhuti Kashyap's Doctor G, co-starring Rakul Preet Singh. It was released in theatres on October 14, 2022, to favorable reviews from critics. The actor will, after that, appear in Dream Girl 2 alongside Ananya Panday. Raaj Shaandilyaa directed the film, which Ekta Kapoor produced. It is set to be released in theatres on June 29, 2023.
Akshay has OMG 2 - Oh My God! 2 with Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Arun Govil, Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi, and the untitled Soorarai Pottru remake. In the Marathi film Veer Daudale Saat, he will also play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
