Despite being the third installment of Hera Pheri, a source stated, "It won't be dubbed Hera Pheri 3." The movie will now be known by the name Hera Pheri 4. The filmmakers believe it justifies the narrative, and audiences will comprehend the motivation once they watch the movie.

The source added, "Hera Pheri 4 hasn't yet been released on the big screen. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal filmed a teaser yesterday to announce that the third installment of the popular comedy series is now official and will shortly begin production. Filming won't start until a month or two from now.

When it was revealed that Kartik Aaryan had been cast in the movie and that Akshay Kumar had left, commotion broke out last year. In a speech, Akshay said he decided not to make the movie because he didn't like the script. Raju, an iconic character played by Akshay Kumar, is beloved by the audience, hence there was a lot of uproar. Many believed that Hera Pheri's upcoming segment wouldn't be enjoyable to watch without him. However, after this episode, the issues between producer Firoz Nadiadwala and actor Akshay Kumar were settled, and Akshay Kumar returned to the Hera Pheri series.
