Akshay Kumar is all set to ablaze the big screens with his remarkable performance in his latest periodical drama Prithviraj. As the title refers Prithviraj is based on the story of legendary warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar will don the character of the King himself alongside Manushi Chillar who will be debuting in this movie.

In a recent conversation, Akshay Kumar opened up about the extensive research done by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi to bring authentic narrating to the big screens.

Apparently Dwivedi carried out research for almost 18 years for the best execution of the film. Akshay Kumar too was taken a back after knowing this fact,a“I hope it becomes the most authentic reference point for the king’s life.” The period drama also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in key roles.

Reportedly, Dwivedi revealed, “We kept the research bay fully operational till the last day of shoot. Now, we are exploring a plan to showcase the research work to people.”

Prithviraj is said to be the costliest film of Akshay’s career and it also has expectations of bringing back the box office back to life for Hindi films.
