Alaya F shares her experience of sharing screen space with Kartik Aaryan in Freddy
Alaya F, daughter of famous model and actress Pooja Bedi, set her foot in showbiz with Nitin Kakkar’s comedy drama Jawaani Jaaneman in 2020. Also featuring Saif Ali Khan and Tabu in pivotal roles, the film opened to mixed response and emerged as a semi-hit venture at the box-office.
Alaya F managed to impress critics and viewers with her endearing performance in Jawaani Jaaneman. The moderate success of the film brought her many offers. The actress next stars in Ekta Kapoor’s much-awaited film Freddy. The film sees her opposite Kartik Aaryan. She is thrilled about having worked with such co-stars.
When asked about her experience of working with Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Saif Ali Khan, Alaya F told a publication, “Actually, not very different! Whether it is Kartik or Saif Sir or Tabu ma’am, these people really know what they do and they have a very strong hold over the performances they give. They are all aware of the films that they are doing and the characters that they are playing and that is just wonderful.”
The newcomer went on to add, “I got to learn so much from each of their approaches to films. All of them were generous and it was wonderful to be around them as I was able to learn and grow a lot in that environment. I feel grateful to have worked with such lovely people so early on in my career. It really is a blessing!”
Directed by Shashanka Ghosh and written by Parveez Sheikh and Aseem Arrora, Freddy is set to enter theatres in 2022.
