Ali Fazal says wedding buzz with Richa is flattering but there have been 'good distractions'
The couple was ready to tie the knot in 2020 but the pandemic played a spoilsport.

For a long time, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have kept their fans guessing about their wedding dates. The pair was about to tie the knot in 2020 but the epidemic intervened. Ali Fazal opened up about his wedding plans in a recent interview with a publication.
Ali Fazal, when asked if a date has been set, said he and Richa had been occupied with "very pleasant distractions." He explained "It's flattering that everyone is looking forward to us pinpointing and setting a date, but in good time. I believe we've also been preoccupied with our work. All of our friends in the industry who are getting married have been excellent distractions. So I've been saying things like, 'Theek hai yaar, keep the paparazzi busy with that.' Don't be concerned. We'll go for it."
Ali Fazal had previously described the wedding rumours as "pretty lovely" and tweeted, "but hey, let us do our thing."
According to reports, the lovebirds are planning to marry while filming Fukrey 3. They were supposed to take a break from filming, fly to Mumbai, marry, and then go back to work. There is no confirmation on that front though.
