Alia Bhatt & Ranveer Singh to resume filming Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani tomorrow
As COVID-19 cases continue to decline across the country, several state governments have begun allowing relaxations in restrictions imposed to contain the spread of the virus. This has also led to the resumption of film production activities across industries.
Several films whose shooting came to a grinding halt due to the third wave of the pandemic, are now gearing up to commence production again. The latest we hear is that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are also set to resume filming Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani.
According to reports, Johar is set to shoot a big song with Singh and Bhatt at Reliance Studio in Film City. Finishing touches were being given to a snazzy set on January 9, when reports of Omicron spreading like a wildfire began and shooting activities stopped. Now that cases have come down and the situation seems a little under control, Johar has decided to go ahead with the shoot. The team is set to begin shooting tomorrow.
Reportedly, this schedule will stretch to 12 days as Bhatt and Singh will not just shoot the song but also a few scenes together.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in important roles. The much-anticipated film is set to enter cinemas on February 10, 2023.
