Alia Bhatt calls Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday “interesting”, “unique” and “different”
Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and starring Bollywood starlet Alia Bhatt, is scheduled to hit theatres soon. Recently, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday said that Alia Bhatt is their inspiration.
Reacting to the same, Bhatt responded, saying, “That’s very sweet. I feel very flattered. I can’t respond and what do I respond. I love them. They both (Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday) are fab. They both are interesting, unique and different. I have seen Gehraiyaan (2022) and Ananya, I think, is fabulous in it. And Sara too, her last film was Atrangi Re (2021), she was superb.”
Aside from Alia Bhatt, Gangubai Kathiawadi also stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, and Seema Pahwa, with Ajay Devgn making a prolonged cameo appearance.
The film will also have its global premiere at the Berlinale Special Gala Section of the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival, which will take place from February 10 to February 20, 2022. The film will be released in theatres on February 25, 2022.
