Alia Bhatt is one of the most talented actors of Bollywood. After starring in a number of box office hits in Bollywood, she is now geared up to make her Hollywood debut with Netflix's Heart Of Stone. But how did the Student Of The Year (2012) actress land her big break internationally? Alia Bhatt recently shared this in an interview, saying that the producers had sent her team a copy of the script and told them they could schedule a virtual meeting if they liked it. She added that Gal Gadot was another "force" in addition to the storyline that pushed her to accept the film.
Speaking to a news portal, Alia said, “You know they would like for you to read the script and if you are interested, we can get you to Zoom to meet with the director. Thanks to Zoom, a lot of this has become possible. You don’t have to fly to a meeting. You can do a virtual meeting. I read the script and of course I heard that Gal Gadot was going to be starring in it and was also producing it, which I was extremely excited about because I am such a huge admirer of her work and just the person, the force that she is.”
Speaking about Heart of Stone, Jamie Dornan of 50 Shades of Grey (2015) will also appear in the film. Alia has already wrapped her filming for the project.
Besides Heart Of Stone, Alia Bhatt will also be seen in Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akiineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Brahmastra is slated to release on September 9.
