Alia was honest about how annoyed she was at being asked over and over about how she managed her career, marriage, and motherhood, saying, "The balancing career irritates the life out of me." Even though she understood that the questions were meant to be helpful, she said that she had to deal with a lot of attention, especially when she told everyone she was pregnant. The actress also talked about a time when Kareena Kapoor Khan agreed with her choice while she was promoting 'Laal Singh Chaddha.'
Alia said she was angry because the questions are often based on the fact that she is a woman at the top of her job. She said she was going to keep playing for as long as she could, no matter what other people thought.
Karan Johar spoke up and said that he was annoyed that people were asking him about Alia's pregnancy and whether it was the right choice for her job at that time.
