Alia Bhatt’s 30th Birthday: Gal Gadot Calls Her “Ma” and Sends Best Wishes
After turning 30 on Wednesday, Alia Bhatt recently posted images from her birthday festivities on Instagram. Gal Gadot, a Hollywood actress and her Heart of Stone co-star, was one of those who sent their condolences. She had previously wished Alia a happy birthday and congratulated her on becoming a mother, referring to her as "ma".
On Thursday, Alia posted photos of herself on her birthday with the simple message "THIRTY". Gal wished her a happy birthday in the comments area and said, "Ma". Lilly Singh, a YouTuber, also congratulated Alia in the comments.
Earlier, Gal responded to Alia's post announcing the birth of her daughter in November of last year by writing "Congratulations" and adding a love emoticon and party confetti icons. When Alia was expecting her first child last year, Gal accompanied her on the Heart of Stone set.
Additionally, Alia had mentioned how well-cared-for she had been while filming the movie in London and other parts of Europe. “It was my first Hollywood big English picture experience and I had quite a task at hand because I was shooting for the first time an action movie. But I’m also pregnant so there were so many layers for me to deal with. But they made it so seamless and so easy and so comfortable for me. It’s something that I will never forget because of how beautifully and how well I was treated,” she said in an interview last year.
Alia recently travelled to Kashmir to complete the filming of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Filmmaker Karan Johar decided to capture some scenes in Kashmir before the movie opens in theatres in July even though she had finished the shoot before giving birth to Raha. It will now be released on July 28 instead of April as originally planned. Ranveer Singh and Alia's Gully Boy co-star will reappear together. Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi also appear in the movie.
