Shweta Bachchan wrote a letter as her parents, the actors Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, celebrated 50 years of marriage. Late on Friday night, Shweta posted a flashback picture of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan looking at each other on Instagram.
Apparently taken on the sets of one of their movies, the vintage black-and-white photo of Jaya in a saree and a smile for Amitabh shows her wearing the attire. A patterned shirt and pair of trousers are noticed on him. Shweta Bachchan published the image with the caption: "Happy 50th parents - now you're 'Golden' once on being asked what the secret to a long marriage is, my mother answered - love, and I think my fathers was - the wife is always right. That's the long & short of it !!"

Navya Nanda, Shweta's daughter, responded to the post with emojis of a crying face and a red heart. She additionally shared a candid image of Amitabh and Jaya from the set of their 2001 movie ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ on her Instagram Stories. She wrote: She wrote, “50 years” along with a red heart emoticon. Navya also added the song Teri Bindiya Re from ‘Abhimaan’ as the background music.
Amitabh will appear in ‘Project K’, which also features Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, for fans to enjoy. ‘Project K’, directed by Nag Ashwin, is a bilingual movie that was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi in several different locales. He will also appear in ‘Section 84’, the upcoming courtroom drama film by Ribhu Dasgupta.

Jaya will appear in Karan Johar's ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’. Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh all play prominent parts in the family drama. On July 28, the movie is scheduled to open in theatres.
