Amitabh Bachchan cheers daughter-in-law Aishwarya, son Abhishek, and Aaradhya on their Cannes appearance
Amitabh Bachchan is a devoted parent who is always rooting for his children. The actor hailed his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan for their appearance at Cannes 2022. A photo of them was shared by the veteran actor on Instagram. On May 18, Abhishek, Aishwarya, and Aaradhya were photographed at the L'Oréal Paris 25th anniversary dinner.
Sharing a fan made collage of Aishwarya, Abhishek and Aaradhya's pictures from L'Oreal anniversary dinner, the megastar captioned, “Putra, bahu, poti ... (son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter).”
Reacting to the post, Abhishek Bachchan took to the comments section and wrote, “Progress report."
After strolling the red carpet in a black flowery gown, Aishwarya attended the dinner party. For the event, she wore a sparkly pink dress with a silk shrug, while Aaradhya wore a crimson outfit and Abhishek wore a suit.
Aishwarya has never missed the festival since her appearance two decades ago. She has been attending the Cannes Film Festival with her daughter Aaradhya since she was born. Abhishek has also traveled with Aishwarya to Cannes on multiple occasions. In 2014, Amitabh accompanied his The Great Gatsby (2013) co-star Leonardo DiCaprio to the festival's opening ceremony.
The 75th Cannes Film Festival kicked off on May 17 and runs until May 28.
