The deepfake was so convincingly crafted that it took several minutes to realize that it was fake. As the video went viral, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan expressed his concern.

Amitabh Bachchan, with whom Rashmika Mandanna had previously worked in 2022 film 'Goodbye' took to his X account (formerly called Twitter), and called for a legal action. Sharing a thread of tweets for information, Amitabh wrote, "yes this is a strong case for legal".
