Amitabh Bachchan reveals what inspired him to say yes to Ajay Devgn's directorial Runway 34
Amitabh Bachchan resorted to social media to upload a video in which he revealed what led him to accept the role in Runway 34. The thriller film, directed and produced by Ajay Devgn, is scheduled to enter theatres on April 29, 2022. Big B revealed a previously unknown and intriguing motive for joining the Ajay Devgn-directed film. Devgn, Amitabh, Boman Irani, Rakul Preet Singh, and Angira Dhar star in the film.
Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a key role in Runway 34, stated why he chose to do the film. He cited Ajay Devgn as the sole reason for his decision. He said, “Him and me have had a long association that began with his father, Veeru Devgn. We spent many-many years together. His contribution was there in my films during our times.”
In films like Khakhee (2004), Aag (1994), and Major Sahab (1998), Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn have shared the screen space. With the highly anticipated Runway 34, the two are set to reunite on screen. Ajay Devgn is directing Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in this film.
