Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol talk about their pregnancy struggles; how they lost a baby via surrogacy

Bollywood actress Amrita Rao, has always been private about her personal life. However, on their YouTube channel, Couple Of Things, the actress has been sharing her happily ever after with hubby RJ Anmol. Everything about Amrita and Anmol's lives felt like a big Bollywood film, from coming up about their hidden romance to their secret marriage.

In their most recent episode of Couple of Things, Amrita and Anmol talked about their difficult pregnancy journey. Anmol and Amrita admitted in the video that they had tried practically every method to conceive. Nothing worked for them, from surrogacy to IVF. They had naturally gotten pregnant after four years, and they had discovered it on March 11, 2020.

Amrita said in the video that they spent three years 'going in and around the gynaec's clinic.' She claimed that they were initially recommended to try IUI, but that it had failed to offer any results. Amrita teased Anmol by suggesting he was anxious to become a parent. He remarked, "Har cheeze mei speed up karna wala banda main hoon (I'm the guy who speeds up things)."

The doctor then suggested that they consider surrogacy. Amrita recalled her reaction, saying, "Frankly I was like hann hann mujhe pregnant nahi banna padega na, theek hai (I wouldn't get pregnant right then it's okay)." She continued, "Of course, there are many factors that the baby will get a lot of qualities of that surrogate mother and not what the original mother can give to the baby."

For those who are unaware, Amrita and Anmol recently confessed that they did not marry on May 15, 2016, but rather in 2014. The couple had kept their relationship out of the limelight for a long time.
