Amrita Rao reveals that she was anxious while trying to get pregnant
Amrita Rao revealed in a recent interview that she struggled with anxiety while trying to conceive with her husband, RJ Anmol.

In a new vlog, Amrita Rao and her husband RJ Anmol discussed her pregnancy anxiety. Amrita married RJ Anmol in a private marriage ceremony in 2014. In 2020, the couple welcomed a son, whom they named Veer.
Anmol stated in their vlog that the couple discussed having a baby while on their honeymoon in Bali. Amrita further said “Bohot time tak uske baad baby nahi hua because basically, mujhe fear the pregnancy ka. I am sharing it for the first time but I had a fear of getting pregnant. The face of pregnancy is very different. Women around me used to tell me that the whole process is natural and all. But a baby is developing in your body and thinking about this caused me discomfort and I had a lot of questions.”
She then disclosed that she had an anxiety attack while trying to conceive and was unable to sleep for almost a month as a result.
The couple recently announced on their Youtube page that they tied the knot in a secret marriage in 2014 to ensure that Amrita's career was not jeopardized by the wedding news. "I thought that if we can keep our affair a secret for 4-5 years, why can't we hide our marriage?" Anmol said in an old vlog.
Amrita made her film debut in the movie Ab Ke Baras in 2002. Sooraj Barjatya's Vivah, in which she co-starred with Shahid Kapoor, continues to remain her most popular film. She has also appeared in the films Ishq Vishk, Shaurya, Main Hoon Na, Jolly LLB, and Thackeray, which was released in 2019.
