Amrita Rao shares first-ever picture of her secret wedding with RJ Anmol
Vivaah actress Amrita Rao had kept her relationship status with RJ Anmol a secret for quite a long time. It was in the year 2016 when Amrita Rao shared a piece of shocking news, by announcing her marriage with RJ Anmol.
This piece of news gave everyone a shock, well the quota of surprise did not end here, Amrita yet again stunned everyone when she was seen outside a clinic in 2020, in Khar with a baby bump. We cannot deny that Amrita and Anmol are the perfect couples when it comes to hiding their personal life. For six years the couple has never come in limelight or shared a single picture from their day-to-day life on social media. It’s after six years the couple has finally trusted themself and the media and shared their love journey in their ongoing show Couple of Things, which is directed and produced by Amrita and Anmol together on their YouTube channel. In one of the episodes, Amrita and Anmol also share pictures of their secret Maharashtrian wedding.
In an interview, Amrita also revealed that she married Anmol in 2014, which was even before both of them announced the news to the world. She further quotes “ Yes, we had a secret wedding in 2014, where we only had immediate family members present. At that point with no social media, the world was different. The news of my wedding could have hampered my career prospects which, luckily, Anmol understood. However, getting married at the right time was also important and hence, Anmol came up with an idea to have a secret marriage and I jumped with excitement at the very thought!”
She even says that her husband RJ Anmol wanted to marry her in 2012, and at that time Amrita was rejecting many films as she was not comfortable doing kissing and love-making scenes. Therefore, Anmol thought of getting married as it was the right time. He also asked Amrita to not work in films, which left Amrita shattered, but eventually, he understood and was sorry about it.
