Ananya Panday says working on Kho Gaye Hum Kahan was a 'cathartic' experience
Ananya Panday is one of the most popular star kids in Bollywood. The young actress has effectively carved out a place for herself in the vast and glamorous world of show business, despite having only a few films to her name. In the upcoming film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya will play the lead role alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. The actress then discussed her time working on the film and described it as a "cathartic" experience.
In a recent interview, the Gehraiyaan (2022) actress said, "It's a coming-of-age story about friendship. There are emotions that we all go through. It is quite cathartic."
"There are times when you read a scene and you feel that has happened to me, it seems like someone is dissecting my life. I have had my own bit to this film, you almost feel like it's real,” she added.
Ananya claimed that her work on Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan served as a training ground for her and that she later used what she learned in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. “Gehraiyaan was a game changer because Shakun had faith in me and helped me find my voice as an actor. I learnt a lot from the film and I see the difference in me,” Panday concluded.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday was recently seen in the pan-Indian sports drama Liger (2022) starring Vijay Deverakonda. The film debuted in theatres on 25th April to mixed reviews.
