Anil Kapoor declines an offer from the 'world's biggest franchise' and explains why
Anil Kapoor is all set for the release of his film Jugjugg Jeeyo and is seen promoting the film in full swing. The actor in a recent interview claimed that he had been offered a movie from the world’s biggest global franchise, but he turned it down.
While speaking about how he received the offer, Anil said, “The biggest franchise in the world, I can't name it, has been offered to me; but it had just two days of work. So, I read the scene. Ek toh mere ko scene samajh mein nahi aya kya tha. (I did not understand what was happening in the scene). Then the director of that franchise called me up, and said that 'I want you to do it. The entire foreign set of friends of mine said 'if you can have this film in your resume, then that's enough."
The Malang actor explained why he turned down the offer and said, "I said (to his friends) I am not going to do it. Ek toh mere ko scene hi samaj nahi aaya (I did not understand the scene narrated to me), and then if I go wrong that day, I will be exposed all over the planet.”
Even though Anil Kapoor didn’t reveal the name of the franchise, fans are left thinking about which one it could be. Previously, the actor had clarified why won’t be taking Hollywood projects anymore.
Anil Kapoor’s Jugjugg Jeeyo will be out in theatres this Friday.
