Animal: Anil Kapoor talks about working with his co-star Ranbir Kapoor
Anil Kapoor last starred in the blockbuster family drama Juggjugg Jeeyo alongside Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, and Kiara Advani. Ranbir is also currently in the best phase of his life with both his professional and personal life being in the limelight. Now, Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor will star together in the film Animal which is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.
Anil joined the crew on July 20 in Mumbai, after Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna started filming Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film earlier this year. In a recent chat, Anil praised his co-star Ranbir and said, “He is a talented, diligent actor who can convincingly convey the subtler aspects of every part. I am working with the younger generation — Hrithik Roshan in Fighter, Aditya Roy Kapur in Captain, Ranbir in Animal, and Harshvarrdhan in Bindra. It’s one of the best phases for me.”
Expressing his excitement about working in the film, the Total Dhamaal actor shared, “I liked the story that Sandeep narrated, and I was sure I wanted to be part of the film.” Well, Anil didn’t quite reveal or spoke about his role in the film. It will be interesting to watch some new collaborations in the film.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor who has returned to the big screens after four years with Shamshera is also waiting for the release of his upcoming big project Brahmastra which is directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna in lead roles.
