The Soorarai Pottru actress Aparna Balamurali recently had a fangirl moment when she met Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on the sets of the Soorarai Pottru remake. The actress met the actor in Chennai, where he was filming the Hindi remake of Sudha Kongara’s film. For those not in the know, Aparna Balamurali was the female lead opposite Suriya in the original Tamil film.
The actress expressed that she was overjoyed to meet Akshay. She and Khiladi Kumar also posed for a picture together. Aparna seemed to be all smiles in the picture which she posted on her Instagram handle. She also extended wishes to the team.
The actress uploaded the picture on her social media account in which the caption read, “When Bommi met Veer!!! The feeling was overwhelming. Thank you
akshaykumar sir for your time. For being such a joy!! Your words meant a lot to me. It was a pleasure to see you become Veer. Forever grateful to my
sudha_kongara ma’am for everything. Missed meeting you
radhikamadan! Can’t wait to see your magic on screen! #sooraraipottru #hindi #veer”
Despite the fact that she has appeared in several Malayalam films, including Dileesh Pothen's critically praised Maheshinte Prathikaram' the Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru was a major breakthrough in Aparna Balamurali’s career.
Her recent release was Veetla Vishesham, a Tamil remake of the Bollywood film Badhaai Ho. The movie is now playing in theatres. The actress also has a few more projects lined up which include Ini Utharam and Viruman.
