One of Bollywood's most promising actors is Arjun Kapoor. The actor, who made his acting debut in 2012 with Ishaqzaade, was most recently seen in Mohit Suri's recently released film Ek Villain Returns, which also stars Tara Sutaria, Disha Patani, and John Abraham in the key roles. He received accolades for his portrayal of Gautam Mehra. On Twitter recently, people have been urging people to boycott movies like Laal Singh Chadha, Raksha Bandhan, Brahmastra, and many more. Arjun Kapoor addressed the topic in an interview. Arjun Kapoor spoke out about how stars do nothing when movies are social media blacklisted. He stated that the industry must unite to stop this trend and that those supporting boycott efforts are to blame for the sector's decline.
The Bhoot Police star said, "I think we made a mistake by being silent about it and that was our decency but people have started taking advantage of that. I think we made a mistake by thinking that ‘our work will speak for ourselves. You know you don't always need to get your hand dirty but I guess we tolerated it a lot and now people have made this a habit." "Ab zyada hone laga hai...unfair hai," Arjun continued.
Further, Arjun insisted, “We need to come together and do something about it because what people write about us or the hashtags that trend, are far away from reality. When we do films that do good at the box office, then at that time people like us not because of our surnames but because of the film."
On the work front, Arjun will be seen next in Kuttey and The Ladykiller. The cast of Kuttey includes Tabu, Radhika Madan, Naseeruddin Shah, and Konkona Sen Sharma. Bhumi Pednekar co-stars with Arjun in The Ladykiller.
