Arjun Kapoor teams up with Mudassar Aziz for his next directorial?
According to reports, Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor has joined forces with filmmaker Mudassar Aziz to star in his next directorial venture.
Aziz has previously helmed such popular films as Happy Bhaag Jaayegi (2016), Happy Phirr Bhaag Jaayegi (2018), and Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019). As per reports, the filmmaker is currently working on a light-hearted subject, which Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani are attached to produce under Pooja Entertainment.
The script of the yet-to-be-titled film is in pre-production stages and the team is looking at taking the film on floors in the second half of 2022.
Spilling more beans, a source in the know informs a leading publication, “Arjun and Mudassar have been discussing this probable collaboration for a while now. This one is right in the zone of films that Mudassar has made till date, as the screenplay marries humour with drama. The paperwork is done and the movie is all set to go on floors in the second half of 2022.”
Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor is waiting for the release of his next film Ek Villain Returns. Also featuring John Abraham, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani in lead roles, the action thriller is set to hit the marquee on July 8, 2022.
