Actress Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul are now generating a lot of buzz for their nuptials, which took place on January 23 at Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala. The long-term pair chose to have a small wedding ceremony with just their immediate relatives and close friends. Even though there weren't many famous people there, the couple was showered with gifts.

According to several reports, Suniel Shetty gave his daughter Athiya a lavish apartment in Mumbai costing Rs. 50 crore. Suniel Shetty's close buddy Salman Khan gave Athiya an Audi automobile valued Rs. 1.64 crore. Another close friend of Shetty's, Jackie Shroff, gave his daughter a Rs. 30 lakh Chopard watch. Athiya's childhood friend Arjun Kapoor, with whom she worked on the film Mubarakan, gave her a diamond bracelet that cost Rs. 1.5 crore.

It's also been said that KL Rahul's cricketing friends went all out with their gifts, covering every possible surface. Virat Kohli, a famous batsman and lifelong friend of KL Rahul and the Indian Cricket team, gave him a BMW automobile worth Rs. 2.17 crore. MS Dhoni, a former captain who attended the wedding, gave Rahul an 80 lakh rupee Kawasaki Ninja bike as a wedding gift.

Suniel posted two additional images from the lovely event on Wednesday. He and his wife Mana Shetty were visibly moved when they hugged Athiya in one of them. They were showering the newlyweds with flowers in another.

An informant claimed that the couple would throw a grandiose post-wedding party for all of their business associates and friends. KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty didn't talk much about getting married. They have been dating for a while, and in 2021 they made their first official public appearance at the Mumbai premiere of Athiya's brother Ahan Shetty's debut movie Tadap.
