Anupam Kher and Akshay Kumar, renowned actors who shared the screen in 'Special 26', enjoyed a heartwarming rendezvous. The endearing meeting caught attention as Akshay Kumar affectionately kissed Anupam Kher's forehead, a moment Kher shared on his X account (formerly known as Twitter). The snapshot displayed Akshay planting a kiss on Kher's forehead. Anupam Kher was clad in a green t-shirt and denim, while Akshay sported a black, uber-cool shirt and matching cap.

The duo has collaborated in numerous films, including 'Sainik', 'Baby', 'Desi Boyz', 'Special 26', 'Naam Shabana', and 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', among others. Recently, on the 10th anniversary of 'Special 26', Akshay and Kher discussed the possibility of a sequel.
At present, Akshay Kumar celebrates the success of his recent release 'OMG 2', which performed remarkably well at the box office, even amidst competition from 'Gadar 2'. He has more projects lined up, including the untitled Hindi remake of 'Soorarai Pottru', set to hit theaters on September 1, featuring Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal. Additionally, the action thriller 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', co-starring Tiger Shroff, is scheduled for Eid 2024. Akshay is also set to reunite with Riteish Deshmukh for the fifth 'Housefull' installment.
Shifting focus to Anupam Kher, he shared a glimpse of his character from his 528th film, the Telugu drama 'Tiger Nageswara Rao'. Set in the 1970s, the movie revolves around a fearless thief (Ravi Teja) of South India and the residents of Stuartpuram. Written and directed by Vamsee, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. Kher is also part of 'The Vaccine War', slated for a September 28 release, alongside Nana Patekar and Pallavi Joshi. He is set to appear in Kangana Ranaut's directorial 'Emergency' and 'The Signature' as well.
