Ayan has responded to this fan notion, claiming that while it was something that viewers observed, there was no such connection in his thoughts as he created the movie. "Dev and Alia both wear the same ring. To be very honest, we didn't see any correlation. The audience noticed it right away, and it was an excellent catch. The speaker claimed that it wasn't in my head, but that's the layer the audience saw.
