Ayushmann Khurrana-Rakul Preet Singh starrer Doctor G gets its RELEASE date
Since the day the first look was revealed, the wait for the Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Doctor G has generated a lot of hype. In the movie Doctor G, which is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, Ayushmann Khurrana plays a medical student. The actor, who is playing a male gynecologist, revealed the first poster for the film, which provides us a glimpse inside the hectic world of his medical training to become a gynecologist.
Doctor G featuring Rakul Preet Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana will be released on October 14.
Khurrana uploaded a two-photo post on his social media account with the description that the release date of the medical drama has been announced. Khurrana wrote the caption, “ZindaGi hai meri full of Googly / Chahiye tha Orthopedics, par ban gaya DoctorG / Get ready for your appointments, #DoctorG will attend to you in theatres from 14th October 2022”.
Earlier, the actor spoke regarding the film saying, “The subject of Doctor G is very close to me. Considering the lockdown restrictions, we all have been waiting to start the film and we are glad that the day has finally arrived. It’s an honor to portray a doctor on the screen for the first time. I am truly excited to start shooting the film also because it’s going to allow me to relive my memories of being a student and living the hostel life. I’m looking forward to collaborating with my director Anubhuti”.
Together with Kashyap, Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat have written Doctor G. Shefali Shah makes a cameo appearance in the film, which is produced by Vineet Jain and Amrita Pandey. Following two successful films, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Badhaai Ho, Ayushmann and Junglee Pictures have now worked together on this as their third project.
