Bachchhan Paandey to stream on Amazon Prime Video
Starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kriti Sanon, and Arshad Warsi in lead roles, Bollywood film Bachchhan Paandey (2022) is now set to stream on the streaming media giant Amazon Prime Video this week.
The film, directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, hit theatres on March 18, 2022.
Released with much fanfare, the big-ticket film failed to set the cash registers jingling at the box-office as it was massively affected by the dream run of Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files (2022), which has now crossed the coveted ₹250 crore mark at the ticket window. Even Kumar himself had admitted the same at an event.
Talking about the OTT release of Bachchhan Paandey, Akshay Kumar said in a statement, “Bachchhan Paandey is an out and out comedy entertainer and I am quite excited to bring this film to audiences who have missed out on their dose of entertainment.”
He added, “Filled with a whole lot of action, drama and comedy, audiences can enjoy the film from the comfort of their living room from 15th April on Amazon Prime Video. I hope you enjoy watching the film as much as we enjoyed filming it.”
Bachchhan Paandey will be available on Amazon Prime from 15th April, 2022.
