After officially announcing the sequel to his 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the pre-release event of RRR in Mumbai, superstar Salman Khan has now confirmed its official title. The actor, who rang in his 56th birthday on December 27 at his Panvel farmhouse, interacted with the media and said that the sequel will be called Pawan Putra Bhaijaan.
Rumours were rife lately that Khan might collaborate with acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli on a film. During the interaction, the superstar dismissed the rumours but confirmed the title of the sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. “No, there is nothing like that. If it happens it will be great as Rajamouli is a very good director," he said.
The actor continued, "But I am definitely working with his father, K.V. Vijayendra Prasad. He has written the script of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and now he is writing its sequel too and has named it Pavan Putra Bhaijaan. As soon as he completes it, and I complete shooting these two films (Tiger 3 and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali), I will start shooting them. There might also be a sequel to No Entry."
Khan, who will soon begin filming the last leg of his much-anticipated espionage thriller Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif, said that the Maneesh Sharma directorial should release by December 2022.
