Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's new movie Bawaal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is the buzz of the town. After showing the two main characters confined within a gas chamber that was utilized during the Holocaust, Bawaal's trailer confused the general public.

Some people didn't see the connection between one of the biggest human catastrophes caused by humans and a romantic comedy like Bawaal. Others criticized the Holocaust's romanticization. Nitesh Tiwari eventually spoke up on the subject. The director spoke about it during the Dubai trailer premiere for ‘Bawaal.’

Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Nitesh Tiwari were present for the trailer launch of ‘Bawaal’ in Dubai. On this particular occasion, the filmmaker discussed his opinions on the teaser response in an interview with a media outlet. He pleaded with the audience to trust him, saying that Bawaal's depiction of the most brutal kind of torture, known as gas chamber murders, had been handled with "utmost care" in the movie, without exalting or demonising any circumstance.

Nitesh Tiwari stated, "If you look at the kinds of films I've been in, it should also inform you and give you some reassurance that this would likewise have been handled with the utmost care. The director went on to say that there was a "meaningful" explanation for linking a love drama with a scene in a gas chamber.

You have only seen two shots, is all I can say. You are even unaware of what occurred prior to, what will occur afterwards, or how everything fits together. I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone. Everything that happens in the movie has a purpose, and like I mentioned, that purpose is quite profound,” said Nitesh Tiwari.

Varun Dhawan recognized that it was reasonable for people to be curious about the connection between a tragic event and a love tale. "It's like a maths conundrum that nobody can figure out. I've been reading some extremely entertaining hypotheses, too," the actor said.
